The Cozy Talk is a quiet corner for talking. These terms exist so that we all know what to expect and how we look after each other. By using the site you agree to them.
What it is and what it is not
Here you can write to me anonymously, read talks and articles, listen to music and talk with others in the open talk.
The Cozy Talk is not psychotherapy, medical or legal advice, and it is not an emergency service. If you are in danger right now, call 112. In Greece, for suicidal thoughts call 1018, and for psychosocial support 10306.
Age
The site is for people aged 15 and over.
When you write to me
- I read every message, but I cannot promise to reply to all of them or within a set time.
- I publish a talk only if you give me permission, and always with details changed.
- I choose which talks are published and may shorten or edit them.
- You can ask for a talk of yours to be removed at any time by writing to me at hello at thecozytalk dot com.
Permission for what is published
When you give me permission to publish, you allow me, free of charge and not exclusively, to publish your text edited and anonymous on this site and in its previews when someone shares it. If you withdraw the permission, I remove it.
How we talk here
In the comments and in the open talk:
- We write with kindness. We do not judge, we listen.
- We do not publish personal details, ours or anyone else's (names, addresses, phone numbers, photos).
- Harassment, threats, hate speech, advertising, illegal content and anything that could push someone to hurt themselves are not allowed.
I may delete messages and block anyone who does not respect these rules.
Copyright
The texts, illustrations and design of the site belong to The Cozy Talk. You are welcome to share a page by its link or quote a few lines, naming the source. For anything else, ask me.
Third-party services
The music comes from Radio Paradise and the weather from Open-Meteo. Their own terms apply to those. For your data, see the privacy policy.
Liability
What I write is thought and experience, offered with care, but it is general. It does not replace a professional who knows you. As far as the law allows, I am not responsible for decisions you make based on the site's content, or for interruptions in its operation.
Changes and law
I may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest change. Greek law applies, without limiting the rights the law gives you as a consumer.
